A special Mother's Day event is a series of live readings by local authors on the subject of motherhood. Directed and produced by Jill Robbins and Jennie Badger, "Listen to Your Mother" will touch many aspects of motherhood, from being a mom and having a mom to losing a mom and finding one.

The Blues Beatles band started playing Beatles' songs in 2012, with blues and soul grooves that suit the vocals of the songs while adding a different feel to them. "Their fiery live performances showcase their individual and collective skills." Band members are Marcos Viana, Flavio Naves, Bruno Falcao and Fred Barley.
Youth Orchestra of San Antonio concert featuring the first Texas presentation of Seattle-based digital media artist Adrian Wyard's new visual accompaniment to Dvorak's "New World" symphony. Glorious landscape imagery from all across America accompanies the music "beat-for-beat." In addition, the program includes Lili Boulanger's "Of a Spring Morning" and Aaron Copland's "Appalachian Spring Suite."
