The much anticipated “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” concert is taking place this Saturday. The concert features the famed film on a giant high-definition screen, with the San Antonio Philharmonic playing live in the theater the famous score by John Williams. The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts also has good news: Orchestral music is returning to the venue that was built years ago with the San Antonio Symphony in mind. The Orchestra San Antonio (TOSA) will make its debut as the resident orchestra of the Tobin Center on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. It will be conducted by TOSA’s Principal conductor, Leonardo Pineda. The concert will also feature trumpet soloist Pacho Flores, and Zaireth Perez, mezzo-soprano. Expect a blending of classical, Spanish and Latin American music.
YOSA, (Youth Orchestras of San Antonio) will celebrate the music of ABBA for one night only, with the help of San Antonio’s finest pop vocalists – Chapel Korrot, Mary Morrow, De’Von
“Waterloo” and others. ABBA’s legacy as one of the most popular pop bands of all time includes over 400 million records sold worldwide. YOSA continues its classical Albums Live series with this performance, reinventing rock and pop songs with orchestral accompaniment. We say: bravo! The Tuesday Musical Club is inviting music lovers to meet six former Junior Tuesday Musical Club members who are now performing on national and international stages. The JTMC is proud to host Daniel Anastasio, Christopher Guzman, Brian Hodges, Kasandra Keeling, Jessica Petrasek, and Nancy Zhou for the Alumni Centennial Gala, celebrating 100 years of serving young San Antonio area musicians. The San Antonio Trombone Quartet has a concert coming up. The group members explore a variety of music that brings out the lyrical qualities of the trombone. Alamo City Arts presents” Viva Mariachi!” A cultural fusion of classical and Mariachi music, to showcase their combined cultural influence. Mexican singer/songwriter Tito Double P will entertain grateful audiences on his AY MAMA TOUR. He will be at the Boeing Center at Tech Port Arena, today, March 14. The multi-platinum rock band, Counting Crows, has announced the Complete Sweets Tour, which will stop in San Antonio on Aug. 2; Tickets on sale March 14; concert will be at the Espee.

Artpace is opening the Spring 2025 Resident Artists Exhibition which will open March 20 and include an artist talk. Selected by guest curator, Jami Powel, artists – Laura Drey Veles, Anita Fields, and Lorena Molina – will present new works created during their Artpace residency. The evening will feature an artist talk, with the artists in conversation with Jami Powell, followed by a Q&A. The event will also include a live, experimental Cumbia performance.
